If you enjoy fishing, no trip to town is complete unless you cast your line from the end of the Oceanic Fishing Pier at least once or twice. While chartered deep-sea fishing trips promise a more diverse and larger catch, a plethora of gleaming fish can be hooked here at any time of day.

Its long, wooden boardwalk stretches into the Atlantic Ocean and is located at the southern end of the island. Anglers of all ages and abilities line the sides, with rods, nets, and bait available for rent from the store.

While fishing for bluefish, horseshoe crabs, flounders, and rockfish, you can take in breathtaking views of the city, sea, and sand.

Seacrets Distillery

Despite the fact that it only opened in 2016, the superb Seacrets Distilling Company has already won numerous awards for its excellent selection of spirits. Tours and tastings are available at its Midtown location before purchasing bottles to take home as souvenirs or gifts.

It is the county’s first distillery built since prohibition ended in the 1930s, and it is housed in a unique building filled with authentic antiques. 

Learn about the history of distilling by exploring its fermentation room and production line. Gins, rums, and vodkas are also produced. Finally, guests can relax in the Speakeasy tasting room and sample some stiff spirits.

The massive Outlets Ocean City is located across the Ocean Gateway bridge from downtown. Aside from the boardwalk, it is one of the best places in town to shop, with dozens of designer outlets and name-brand stores.

The outdoor shopping center is located on the mainland alongside US Route 50 and spans a large area. Along with the ever-popular Adidas and American Eagle Outfitters, there are numerous stores to visit, including Nike, Old Navy, and Under Armor.

It also has a number of restaurants and fast-food joints where you can grab a bite to eat before continuing your shopping or sightseeing. If the kids get tired of playing, they can go karting or play mini-golf right next door.

Ripley’s Believe it or not! is packed with strange and wonderful items from around the world that are sure to amaze and entertain young and old alike. It is instantly recognizable due to the giant moving shark model emerging from its walls and is located at the entrance to the Jolly Roger at the Pier.

The museum is dedicated to the unique and unusual, and it houses a massive collection of kitschy oddities. Visitors can thus see everything from shrunken heads and rare animal skeletons to terrifying torture devices, strange sculptures, and intriguing artworks.

You can try out its Marvelous Mirror Maze and Impossible Laser Race in addition to perusing all of the fascinating facts and fun exhibits. Because it is one of the most popular attractions on the boardwalk.
